Optical fibre position and outer diameter measurements

The LS-9000 Series is equipped with a CMOS sensor that measures the outer diameter and a CMOS sensor that measures the position between the transmitter and receiver. This makes it possible to perform X-axis position and Y-axis position measurements —which conventionally required two measuring instruments—with just a single measuring head. Coating thickness deviations can be prevented by measuring the X-axis and Y-axis positions simultaneously.
